This is one trail within the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Because we are working on all of the trails individually, I will post each of these trails. The park map can be found here.

You can make this a loop if you add this trail to the other side of the State Park Road.

In our case, we just turn around at the end and walk back. There is a picnic table at the end that you can rest on before turning around. When we do it, it turns into a 3.8 mile route.

While we were on the trail, there was tons of flowers that were as tall as we were, and when the wind picked up it felt like we were in a fairyland.
